Ugh, seriously, Texas. One day I'm getting a debut pedicure for my flip flops and the next day I'm brushing snow off my windshield. I'm a little leary of this gorgeous sunshine, but I'm going outside anyway. Perhaps if you're inside or need a little inspiration, consider the following fun finds.....

Please tell me you've read this blog--it's HILARIOUS. Girls are Absurd makes fun of all the crazy things girls do, and they are undoubtedly true. This post made me laugh until I cried. No joke. The blogger is a relative of MK's and Joe's, and I can't believe they've been keeping this hilarious person from me! I still have yet to be introduced. And am a little bitter about it.

Another fav blog these days for me is Small Notebook. I could seriously be friends with this girl. She is all about living a simple life with plenty of frugality and rich experiences.

Do you know your Color Personality? I was surprised at what I learned about myself! Here's the test and, for your viewing pleasure, here are my results....

BLACK is your color

Nothing can stand between you and your demand for a calm environment. To be free of conflict and disagreement is the only way to live. In fact, it’s this philosophy that probably allows you to be comfortable in conditions that would normally bother others. Your ability to focus is undisputed, and while you enjoy attention, you still have problems understanding how to handle it. No other color out lives by the golden rule as much as you do.

I'm loving this neutral nursery. I love the idea of neutrals in a baby's room--peaceful, soothing for their (hopefully) sleepy nights and naps. Perhaps we can take a lesson from them--after all, the only time my daughter spent in her room as an infant was to sleep!

On that note, my daughter, that is, we had a cheerleader-themed birthday party for her this month. Somehow I haven't gotten my lazy self to get the pictures from my camera to my computer, but it will happen. It was great and she even had real, live cheerleaders that attended who taught her guests some cheers!

Understand how your weather is frustrating; in the Memphis, Tn area the weather can change in a matter of hours. Thanks for the links!(((Hugs)))

Thanks so much Alison. I cannot get over this weather. One day it's snowing and the next it's 70 degrees. What a week.

I just scheduled my first Spring pedicure, after a 4 month hiatus from the spa. I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks for the Girls website tip. Heading over there now!
